Project Exploration creates transformati ...

Project Exploration creates transformative learning opportunities for youth underrepresented in the sciences — particularly students of color and girls — by equipping them with the skills, practices, and mindset needed for a lifelong pursuit of learning. It takes a village to maintain our program spaces and inspire the next generation of STEM professionals to reach their full potential! Work with our team to find a mentor opportunity that works with your busy schedule. Whether you join Project Exploration for a one-time or regular volunteer engagement, your contributions will directly further our mission. Opportunities include: - leading hands-on STEM activities with our students - introducing new careers/STEM opportunities to young people - mentoring individual youth - hosting field trips - supporting students at events, such as robotics competitions and invention conventions, or our annual Reflection of Knowledge celebration - serving as panelists at semester-end showcases

Envirolution provides teachers with engaging STEAM and sustainability focused curriculum with the mission to inspire students to pursue STEAM careers. We also work closely with businesses to bring students to them through engaging field trips. We therefore have an opportunity to connect students with business mentors and are interested in a more formal way of doing this. WE also have partnered with Tesla the last few years on Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, which reached over 400 young females across 5 States at various Tesla locations. Next year our goal is 1,000 girls.
